Listen up hot mommas, here’s a great opportunity to cool off and quiet the kiddos after a day at school. Fresh Berry Frozen Yogurt Cafe , 8084 Park Lane, opened August 6 at the new Park Lane development, which houses Nordstrom Rack and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Some of you were there for the grand opening which included free yogurt all day — sadly, I missed it.
At the urging of a couple thoughtful Lake Highlands moms, franchise owner Anthony De Manicor contacted the Advocate to let us know about a special running through September 6: Kids eat FREE after 5 p.m. with an adult purchase. De Manicor, who with his wife will open a second Fresh Berry location in Far North Dallas soon, says there are new specials every day in addition to the “kids eat free” deal. All it took was one look at the menu and I know I’ll be seeing him before the week is over.
