Neighbor Eric Nelson testified last Friday in support of Eric’s Law, which is named after him.
The White Rock area neighbor who was struck by an uninsured, unlicensed driver last year at the Dallas Running Club Half marathon at Flag Pole Hill spoke before the Legislature in Austin, TX last week in support of “Eric’s Law”, which would make sure irresponsible drivers who injure people do not get off as easily as the woman who nearly killed Nelson and three other runners that day. Nelson and his wife Colleen are on the Dallas Morning News editorial staff and the paper has been closely following the proceedings.
