Lake Highlands High School teachers and administrators presented end-of-year awards to graduating seniors based on academic achievement in a variety of subject areas. The follow students were recipients: Mathematics – Alex Atalis and Kenzie Thompson, Science – Ann Mai and Sean Jordan, Social Studies – Blake Martin and Andrew Overby, English – Cydney Gehner and Michael Stradley. Technology – Chanel Turnham and Amanda Oleksy, Foreign Language – Camila Mojica and Geoffrey Dawon, Journalism – Dulce Mondragon and Dessie Million, Family and Consumer Science – Tori Mellinger and Anna Riley, Business – Jenny Wolff and Stevon Lee, Art – Rebecca Scott and Austin Roth, Band – Kara Kearney and Toby Furr, Orchestra – Hector Henriquez and Sam Reyes, Theatre Tech – Luke Ruatta and Will Ruatta, Theatre – Elizabeth Schantz and Maggie Rogers, Speech – Chris Hillman and Daniel Manjarrez, Choir – Beth Morgan and James Smith, Music Theory – Toby Furr, PE – Tiffany Dunlap and Chris Bucholz.

Avery Atkins and Reid McCann were named Best All-Around Athletes, and Carlie Davis earned the Laura Egerton Memorial Award.

Kent McCoy was named Best All-Around Male and Avery Atkins received Best All-Around Female. Salutatorian was Lyndsay West, with a grade point average of 101.45, and Valedictorian was Alex Atalis, with a GPA of 102.01. Congratulations Wildcats!
