If you make an online donation to Healing Hands Medical and Dental Clinic on Wednesday morning, May 20, The Communities Foundation of Texas and the Dallas Foundation will match your gift, dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500 per gift.
The foundations have announced this first-ever Dallas Giving Day to celebrate the launch of DonorBridge, a new online resource for non-profits in North Texas. Several Dallas non-profits will be vying for matching funds tomorrow, since a total of $300,000 will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. That’s why it’s important to go to the site in the morning, to ensure that your donation of $25 or more will be doubled.
Healing Hands is a Lake Highlands charity clinic founded by local mom and school nurse, Janna Gardner. Her board of directors is a who’s who of LH pastors, parents, doctors, and volunteers giving excellent medical care to LH children and families in need.
