The Lake Highlands High School PTA presented end-of-year awards Tuesday, with RISD Superintendent Dr. David Simmons and RISD trustee Luke Davis in attendance. PTA Life Memberships for outstanding service were awarded to: special education teachers Sharon Howard and Mark Danielson, PTA board member Susan Dirting, LHHS teacher Cecilia Galvan, and PTA president Donna Kent. The Wildcat Award was presented to John and Beverly York.
