Lots of good locally grown green stuff —not to mention honey, fruit, and urban chicken — will be sold at a highly anticipated six-week farmer’s market at Mockingbird Station — the first official day of the market is Earth Day, April 22, from 5-8 p.m., but the market will reopen from 5-8 every Thursday night through May. Organizers say the Lake Highlands community gardeners will be big players during the opening night, which will include some educational features, too, for those of us born sans the green thumb.
