This Saturday, a spring tradition is made possible for blind and visually impaired kids on Tee Pee Hill at White Rock Lake. From 9 a.m. to noon, special beeping eggs will be hidden for the 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt for the Visually Impaired hosted by the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Everyone can hunt for eggs, have some breakfast, get their faces painted and participate in games. The Easter Bunny is even making a special appearance. The event benefits the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), which assists the blind or visually impaired and their families. If you are interested in volunteering for this event or have questions about the event or making a donation, e-mail Cesar.
