Lake Highlands is well-known for its outstanding student musical productions – the best this side of Woodrow’s near-Broadway quality shows. If you enjoyed "Little Shop of Horrors" at LHHS, you’ll love "Pajama Game" at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church. The story involves at 1950’s pajama factory, where the workers want a 7 1/2 cent raise. An attraction develops between the new superintendent (Sid, played by LHHS sophomore Thomas Mullins) and the head of the grievance committee (Babe, played by junior Megan Hancock).

Lots of well-known songs will keep your toes tapping, including "Hey There," "Steam Heat," and "Hernando’s Hideaway." Senior Hope Kincheloe is funny as Mabel, and senior Kaitlin Travis plays a strong Gladys. I shouldn’t have favorites, but I’ll watch any show, any time with junior Tim Wall, serving here as "The Prez."
