On Friday, Lake Highlands Elementary will host its second of three Wee Wildcat sessions at the school at 9501 Ferndale.  The Wee Wildcat program was developed to encourage pre-schoolers (and their parents of course) to visit the school, meet the teachers, become familiar and comfortable in the surroundings, and experience what life in ‘the bigs’ will be like when they come of Kinder age and officially enroll.

The first session held last month introduced the four year olds to the Art and Music offered at LHE.  This second session will focus on Science and P.E. (There’s a high probability that LHE’s infamous mad Science Teacher Hilary Puckett will again don her magic bug glasses). And I have it on good authority that the big ol’ friendly huggable Mascot will be on hand as well.

For more info and to make sure that if you’re attending you let the school know so they’ll have your childs goodie bag and t-shirt ready, contact Angel Cochran or 469 593-2076.
