In its recent mass e-mail, the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association noted that it has updated its "Rumors: Fact or Fiction?" website page. I always enjoy reading over the Q&A on this page, which the LHAIA describes as a response to "any rumors regarding development, demolition, plans for improvement or anything else related to the Lake Highlands area."

The official ground breaking for the Lake Highlands Town Center was held on Thursday, Nov. 8."

I’m thinking that must mean Nov. 8, 2007, though the LHAIA website doesn’t specify. We learned in a recent conversation with Prescott Realty officials that horizontal construction began in August 2008. Read more on Christina Hughes Babb’s Back Talk post.
