Now that election season is over, we can get back to talking about the more local efforts made by our elected representatives on the state and national levels. (We at the Advocate try to stay out of the red and blue bickering.)
This video comes courtesy of Advocate columnist and Richardson ISD trustee Luke Davis, who sent it after attending the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands meeting where it was presented. It’s Congressman Jeb Hensarling giving a decidedly nonpartisan shout out to the club and to the Lake Highlands Military Moms for their work to recognize our service men and women, with special kudos to Rhonda Russell, founder of the military moms and current president-elect of the Exchange Club. I have no idea how that woman accomplishes everything that she does.
