Lake Highlands Elementary is offering up a great alternative to the gazillion plastic grocery bags we all always end up with: 100 percent recyclable, reusable and hand washable non-woven bags with the schools logo, a Pawprint, on the front and the words, ‘Going Green Lake Highlands’. The bags are a PTA fundraiser so you can go green while you give to the school.
They’re $5 a piece or buy four, get one free. I did just that and have already used mine. They’re lightweight and easy to carry.
