I met someone last week who is from Houston (where I lived for three years) and is moving to Michigan, and we started talking about the pros and cons of living in Dallas. One con we both identified (and admittedly participate in) is the materialism prevalent here.
She immediately told me she had just bought a T-shirt proclaiming "Keep Dallas Pretentious" from a website called Thirty Thousand Dollar Millionaire. The design is similar to the original "Keep Austin Weird" T-shirts, which makes them even more funny. A few more good Dallas slogans are featured in their store, too.
