A regular visitor to Back Talk reports that a late model SUV ran the stop light going northbound on Abrams at Fisher at about 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, and made a left into the Medallion Center parking lot just before Northwest Highway. "I mean, the car just blew through the light, and the light was full red," she said.

Not that unusual an occurrence around here, is it? This time, though, the red light runner may have had the surprise of his (or her life). Our visitor says that when the car went through the red light, it passed a cop who was going east on Fisher.

Cue siren and flashing lights. The cop made an immediate left and followed the SUV into the parking lot.

Our visitor said she and the driver in the car ahead of her were both straining out the window to see what happened next. Both vehicles, however, were out of sight and she had to drive on. Hopefully, though, the SUV driver got a big, juicy, expensive (click down to R), insurance-rattling ticket.
