Thanks to a previous blog, I’ve got some good advice about what wine to serve with my big Thanksgiving dinner. But man (and woman) cannot live by wine alone. So here’s a big fat turkey to inspire all the folks who will be cooking one this Thursday morning during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. (That’s when I cook mine – it’s tradition).

Hand-painted by Lake Highlands Elementary alumna Whitney Cochran under the tutalage of former LHE Art Teacher Amelia Natanson, this big boy has stood the test of time…and hundreds of Kindergarteners poking feathers in him after running the perimeter of the school during the annual Turkey Trot, held November 19th.
