Thursday update: Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper has backed off from Wednesday’s story, burying the petition news toward the end of a council wrapup story and hinting about the evil nastiness awaiting those of us who signed the petition: "That doesn’t mean, however, that Ms. Hunt’s TrinityVote operation is in the clear." Geez, who do they think Angela Hunt is, Boss Tweed?
The Observer’s Jim Schutze has done the math on this Trinity petition fraud foolishness, and it makes me wonder why the people downtown have so much trouble counting.
And today’s account of the "scandal" in Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper is a far cry from its usual smear ’em until they drop approach. Congratulations to The News’ Dave Levinthal for some fine reporting.
