ECLH scholarship recipients 2024
The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands awarded $125,000 in college scholarships to 56 graduating seniors from Lake Highlands High School Friday morning at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church. The funds were collected at the club’s annual Oktoberfest Dallas and spring benefit concert.
“It’s our pleasure to recognize so many outstanding seniors,” said Exchange Club President Brent Basden. “This is truly one of our favorite mornings of the year.”
For more than 50 years, the ECLH has worked to enhance the community by supporting neighborhood schools, first responders, local nonprofits and improvement projects.
“Each student that we honor today has excelled academically and still found time for substantial extracurricular activities, community service or even outside work, all while overcoming challenges in their life,” said Dave Wittenburg, scholarship chair for the Exchange Club. “We are very confident that each and every one of them is going to accomplish great things in the future, and we look forward to their continued success. The future is bright for Lake Highlands.”
