Veterans invited to Wildcat ‘Salute to America’

Mary Lea Phillips and Mason Murray salute America in 2012

Freshmen choirs at Lake Highlands High School are preparing to present their annual patriotic show, “A Salute to America,” and they are inviting veterans and active service men and women to join them in the audience. The concert will enable the entire community to honor those who serve with song.

The concert will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 7 p.m. in the LHHS auditorium.

This Friday, May 12th, LHHS choirs will host their spring concert, featuring favorite songs from throughout the year and concluding with the traditional “Benediction.” Alumni of the LHHS choir program are invited onstage to join in this moving finale.

The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. in the LHHS auditorium.

Both shows are free.
