Wildcat vying for national soccer championship

Reagan Dunk

Lake Highlands High School 2012 grad Reagan Dunk is having quite a year. He’s been named a semifinalist for the second consecutive year for national college soccer Player of the Year and his University of Denver team will play Friday night in Houston for a chance to go on to the Division I men’s national championships.

Reagan, who had a redshirt season as a Pioneer, is in his fifth year on campus. He’s now seeking a Master’s degree.

Denver faces Wake Forest Friday at 6 p.m. at BBVA Compass Stadium, and the game will be televised live on ESPNU. At 8:45 p.m., Stanford plays the University of North Carolina in the other semifinal game. The championship will be played at 2 p.m., also televised.

The winner of the MAC Hermann Trophy for Player of the Year honors will be chosen by NCAA Division I coaches’ vote and will be announced at a banquet in St. Louis January 6th.

Break a leg, Reagan!
