Overnight reports emerged of a stabbing at a home on Whitehurst, a street near I-635 and Skillman in Lake Highlands.
We’ve learned that that the female victim has been hospitalized with a punctured neck, and that her condition is uncertain.
It also appears, based on TV news reports, that said victim was related to her attacker, 31-year-old Harris Walizada, and that a domestic argument around midnight led to the violent attack.
Walizada fled the scene of the crime, but police picked him up this morning in Richardson.
He is in the Dallas County Jail, held on charges of aggravated assault and evading arrest, and court records show he has a previous criminal history.
