Suspected of capital murder
Witnesses identified a drug dealer known as “Stone” as the shooter in a Lake Highlands area murder last week.
It happened at the El Dorado apartment community on Forest Lane at Woodbridge. That’s inside the Forest-Audelia problem area.
Police on Thursday responded to a call and found two bloody bodies inside apartment #6205. One, Dymdric Williams, was dead at the scene and another, Taydren Young, died later at Presbyterian Hospital. Both men were in their early 20s.
Several witnesses told police the young men were engaging in a drug deal with a man named Stone, according to a police report. Police determined that Stone is one Leonte Demond Stone, a 23-year-old black male for whom they have issued an arrest warrant for capital murder. Witnesses also picked Stone out of a photo lineup.
Police say another suspect in the double homicide also is still at large.
