Witnesses detain alleged killer
Police say Nohel Francisco-Sanchez, 37, confessed to shooting and killing his wife, Brenda Gomez-Llanes, 27.
Police report that he confessed to shooting the woman, mother of his three children, because she was cheating on him. The suspect is a Fort Worth resident, but the incident happened in a Lake Highlands complex, Montecito Creek, near 635 and Walnut Hill, where multiple people witnessed the crime.
In fact, a crowd, including children, reportedly gathered around the victim while others tackled and held the alleged shooter.

Man smashes Porsche
A man, age 37, crashed his Porsche into a tree in the Old Lake Highlands area (Lake Highlands at Easton). The man reportedly is alive and in Medical City Hospital. Police are still investigating the role of alcohol and street conditions.
