After the Wildcats play Mesquite Horn at Wildcat Stadium this Friday in the final game of the regular season, the girls hit the gridiron Saturday for the Annual Powder Puff game. Turnabout is fair play as freshman, sophomore, junior and senior women face off in a flag football showdown to raise money for the senior class. The fun begins at 2 p.m. and lasts all afternoon, with the guys sticking to the sidelines as cheerleaders and coaches.

Tickets are $5 at the stadium gate and concessions will be available. The Clawset will also be open to sell Wildcat spirit items.

Hopefully, there will be plenty to celebrate. If the Cats beat Mesquite Horn Friday, Lake Highlands advances to the football playoffs. Friday night is also Senior Recognition Night, with senior football players, cheerleaders, Highlandettes and band members being recognized. Pregame festivities begin at 7 and kickoff is at 7:30. Go Cats!
