Fall is officially upon us. November is just around the corner, and with it, the emergence of facial hair, and lots of it, in honor of “Movember.”
Movember is an annual nation-wide movement that involves sprouting mustaches in order to raise awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.
Doing our part to boost awareness, the Lake Highlands Advocate wants to know: Who has the best mustache in our neighborhood?
Submit your favorite mustache by emailing us a photo at chughes@advocatemag.com. Please include the name of the mustachioed candidate and the zip code in which he or she (hey, you never know) resides. If you have a specific reason for supporting Movember, let us know about that, too. And please place “Movember” in the subject line.
Fine print: Photos from previous Movembers are OK. We realize it is not yet October, but we have a magazine, and the November issue goes to print in less than four weeks. So get growing!
