Audelia Library

Your kids can discover the wild and wonderful world of paleontology from the experts at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, without all of the hassle of heading downtown to go to the museum. That’s because museum educators are coming to Audelia Library to host a children’s paleontology class, “All About Rocks!” this Thursday, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

During the class, children will dig for fossils, study minerals under UV lights, and sort bones. Educators will teach children the difference between an herbivore, omnivore and carnivore from looking at their skulls, too.

Kindergartners through 6th graders are welcome to participate. The event is free, but registration is required, and can be done online here.
