You’re in for a treat if you’re looking for great entertainment this weekend. Espree, the Lake Highlands High School pop group, is performing their annual spring show Friday and Saturday nights, and this year’s 19-member band is as high-energy and full of talent as any I’ve seen in the 33 years they’ve been delighting Dallas audiences.
“Light Up the World” is the theme, and the show features a broad selection of family-friendly hits you’ll recognize and enjoy. The twelve vocalists and full band clearly have fun performing together, and they’ve had plenty of practice. They’ve spent months entertaining folks at shopping malls, hospitals, nursing homes and civic groups all over town. Now that they’re back on “home turf,” expect a show-stopping performance.
The show begins at 7 pm in the LHHS auditorium, and tickets for general admission are $10 at the door, $5 for children. Reserved tickets are $12 at the door or $10 by contacting Teresa Chilian at firstname.lastname@example.org or 214-395-8073.
