Halfway into Ricky Zorn’s junior year, the coaches and players at Harvard University are beginning to sound like some Wildcats I know. In a feature article in today’s Harvard Crimson, which you can read here, praise for Ricky’s efforts and accomplishments flows.
After switching from quarterback to wide receiver in preparation for this season’s play, Ricky scored a touchdown against Holy Cross a few weeks ago in a game where he had six receptions and put up 99 yards. The next week, against Cornell, he caught another touchdown pass and earned 5 receptions and 100 yards. Harvard is undefeated.
“The kid works incredibly hard,” says his coach in the article. “He’s a strictly lead by action, by example guy.”
His teammates are even more effusive.
“That kid’s just a perfect kid,” said fellow receiver Andrew Berg. “He’s the type of kid you want to have in your family.”
I’ll say.
