After a stunning come-from-behind win over McKinney Boyd Saturday, the Wildcat baseball team has advanced to the second round of baseball playoffs. The Vikings outscored the Cats 8-2 in game 1, and when they led in game 2, most figured a repeat of last year, when they knocked us out of the playoffs in the first round. Lake Highlands mounted a comeback with character and won 4-3 Friday and 8-6 Saturday.
This weekend, the Cats will face Temple High School in Temple Friday night at 7:30pm, then play in Lake Highlands Saturday at 1pm. Game 3, if needed, will be at LHHS at 3, leaving plenty of time to go home and get ready for prom later in the evening. Go Cats!
