The LHHS wrestling team finished second in the Eastside Dual Tournament Saturday.
The team beat Plano East 57- 22, then defeated Frisco Liberty 69-9. The Wildcats finished pool competition with a close win against St. Marks 40-37.
In the finals, Lake Highlands lost to Flower Mound 54-18 for s second place finish.
“Overall the wrestlers did great,” Pete Grieder, LHHS coach said of the Wildcats who improved their dual record to 11-1 this year.
Juniors Nathan Schulman, Biak Thang and Parker Starr, all went undefeated in the tournament.
The next match is at 6 p.m. tonight at Arlington Martin.
