Two LH baseball players and a host of LH softball players have been recognized in recent postseason honors.
In baseball, junior first baseman Blake Woodson made first-team All-State and senior shortstop Byron Burns earned second-team honors in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association honors.
In softball, sophomore pitcher Erin Brennan was named MVP of District 9-5A in the recently published all-district team. Sophomore Andrea Beard was named the Offensive Player of the Year – how’s that for a bright future with two standout sophomores?
Also making the first team were senior catcher D.J. Sandidge, senior third baseman Caroline Pickett, junior shortstop Ashley Hudson and sophomore outfielder Destiny Rojas.
