“We’ve got a little bit of everything,” says Picasso’s Pizza and Grill manager Ray Hernandez. And he’s right. Although pizza is the main attraction, with favorites such as The Masterpiece (pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushroom, red onion, black olive, green bell pepper and sliced tomato) and the Chicken Florentine (Alfredo sauce, chicken, Roma tomatoes, spinach and sliced artichoke hearts), Picasso’s menu boasts a variety of dining fare that includes pastas, burgers, sandwiches, grill entrees (think filet mignon and baby back ribs), soups and salads and even quesadillas. After 10 years in their Lake Highlands spot, owner Andrew Albert is opening a second location at Inwood and Forest . But not to worry: The original Picasso’s is still going strong, with a recent addition of new menu items, free valet parking, and improvements to the outdoor patio — including an air conditioner. And for all of you who are party people, the restaurant recently started its own catering service.
