A few lucky students won bicycles at the Stults Road Elementary STAAR celebration Tuesday
Students at Stults Road Elementary were treated to a pizza party and prize giveaway Tuesday to celebrate their hard work preparing for STAAR tests and end-of-year exams. The celebration was a surprise, and students were astonished to see the PTA had collected donations from community donors to provide bicycles, scooters, soccer balls and other prizes.
Helping to draw the names and deliver goodies were Lake Highlands High School cheerleaders, Wranglers and Willie, the Wildcat mascot. A few lucky winners received tickets to SMU sporting events and passes to LHHS summer athletic camps. Every child took home a snack bag.
Wednesday is the official last day of school for Richardson ISD schools. Happy summer!
