The Lady Wildcats soccer team lost to Pearce last night 2-0 in a friendly scrimmage on Mustang turf. Pearce was the 4-A state champion last year, looking the part with several returning starters. “We passed well and controlled the ball,” midfielder Gina Gossett told me, “but they’re a very good team.”

The Cats play again this week in the Red Bull Nolan Showcase, playing at 4 pm Thursday at Southlake Dragon Stadium, competing in two games Friday, 9 am and 2pm, and their final game Saturday at 5 pm on the TCU campus. Go Cats!
