A Lakeridge redo could include new restaurants with patio dining
The Dallas City Council has approved contributing Skillman Corridor TIF (Tax Incremental Financing) District funds to the Lakeridge Village redevelopment project. The City’s pledge is expected to greenlight the revitalization of the center, located at the southeast corner of Walnut Hill and Audelia.
The retail center was built in the 1960s and includes local favorites Atomic Pie and Lake Highlands Creamery.
On their website, SHOP Development says they plan “to incorporate natural materials, updated architecture, landscaping and critical neighborhood amenities to appropriately capture the immediate trade.” They say they’ll target “quality dining options, boutique fitness, better quick serve, neighborhood services and daily needs” as they seek retail tenants.
