Lake Highlands has come out like gangbusters in the second half. Mesquite got the ball first but the defense forced a quick four-and-out.
Then the LH offense sliced and diced, covering 72 yards in eight plays. After impressive runs by Roland, Zorn and Sunwengham, Anthony Harris scored on an end-around from five yards out.
LH leads 24-7 midway through the third quarter.
