My friend Rob set up a motion-activated camera over his garage after a few incidents with kids in the alley of his home on Spring Branch. On February 20, 2009, he hit pay dirt with a clear video of two teen boys breaking into his car. He posted the video to YouTube and forwarded the link to a few friends, hoping they could identify the thieves.

More than 1000 viewers have watched it this week and he still does not have names to go with the faces, but he thinks it’s just a matter of time. “I’ve sent it to police, school, and neighborhood folks, and they’re all trying to figure out who it is,” Rob told me. LH resident and Channel 11 reporter Stephanie Lucero also saw the video and is expected to report on the incident tonight. Other recent victims hope their perpetrators are the same guys and they’ll be caught.  If you recognize either boy, Rob would love to hear from you.
