Blaine Hale, recent Lake Highlands High School graduate, has won the Dallas Junior Golf Championship. The former Wildcat golf team standout shot 68, 69 and 73 last week, for a winning score of 210, and bested his closest competitor by six shots overall.
Hale will play for Oklahoma University in the fall.
The tournament is Dallas’ oldest, founded in 1924 by sportswriter Jere Hayes, and was played at Stevens Park, Tenison Park and Keeton Park.
