Isaac Grieder pole vaults at the Sun Belt Championship

Isaac Grieder gave his mom the kind of Mother’s Day gift she prefers over flowers and candy. The 2010 Lake Highlands High School grad set a new school record as he competed in the decathlon for the University of Louisiana at Monroe at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. His parents, Pam and Pete Grieder, were there in Gulf Shores, Alabama to cheer him on.
