Elizabeth Hurt, Coach Kyle Horne and Madison Monzingo
Congratulations are in order for two members of the Lake Highlands High School swim and water polo teams.
Madison Monzingo and Elizabeth Hurt have been recognized by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association as Academic All-Americans, an award for seniors who excel both in the pool and in the classroom. Both were Academic All-State in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Monzingo and Hurt are co-captains of both teams, where they have competed for 4 years. Both are in the top 10% of this year’s graduation class at LHHS.
Congratulations, ladies!
