Sadie Bono makes her triumphant return to the pitcher’s mound Friday night for the 3rd annual Sadie’s Night at Lake Highlands High School. The Wildcat baseball team will also host Elementary School Night, with children 6th grade and under welcome to run the bases after the varsity game concludes. The event will raise money for the Children’s Craniofacial Association.

Tilger Real Estate Group will be selling special t-shirts, and the Cat Shack, sponsored by The Store in Lake Highlands, will be serving grilled burgers & hot dogs and selling chips, candy and drinks.  Admission is to the game is free.

Sadie has Pfeiffer Syndrome, a genetic skull disorder affecting approximately 1 in 100,000 individuals. Her skull sutures prematurely fused in the womb, causing her face and head to grow abnormally.

If you’d like to catch Sadie in action, she’ll be on the mound to throw out the first pitch between the JV game (5 p.m.) and the varsity game (7 p.m.). Go Cats, beat Pearce!
