christmas-tree1If you’ve taken down your Christmas decorations, you’re ahead of me but not the City of Dallas. They’ve arranged for handy-dandy drop off of your live Christmas tree at Home Depot stores around town, including the two here in Lake Highlands. The trees will be recycled to make mulch for use in City parks and projects.

You’ll need to remove all the tinsel, ornaments, lights, nails and tree stands first, of course, but then you’re welcome to deliver the well-loved but now sad tree to the Home Depot at 6000 Skillman near Northwest Highway or 11682 Forest Central Drive.
