Like Dallas Cowboy Hall-of-Famer Emmitt Smith, Lake Highlands’ soccer standout Emmet Kumeh is known to many by just his first name. Now he’s known in even wider circles. Emmet has been named to the All Area Team as a star defender.

Emmet was recently chosen District 9-5A’s MVP, and he was Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. He scored 15 goals in 14 games just this season (yes, I did say he plays defense). Emmet will play for SMU next fall.
