The Wildcats finished the regular season in style, beating district co-champion Richardson 1-0 to secure a playoff berth. Jesuit and Richardson tied for first in district, and Lake Highlands ended the season ranked third.

The game’s only goal was scored by Emmet Kumeh in the second half on an assist by Michael Potter (shown in the photo). The Cats’ shutout demonstrated what has been at the heart of their key wins – strong defensive play.

LH’s first playoff opponent is expected to be North Garland early next week. More details to come. Go Cats!
