Burger Schmurger invites all burger aficionados to its one-year anniversary block party on Thursday, April 30, beginning at 3 p.m.
Designed as a thank-you to its East Dallas following, the celebration will take place at the restaurant, located at 718 N. Buckner Blvd.
While the event begins at 3 p.m., the main programming and headline activities will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Guests can expect:
- Live music by Downtown Doug from 5 p.m. to 8 pm.
- Dunk tank featuring the Burger Schmurger founders
- Balloon artists and face painters for a family-friendly experience
- Dirty sodas by Dilly Dally Soda Co.
- Raffles and giveaways, including gift cards, exclusive merch, skip-the-wait passes, and a Blackstone flat top grill.
At the center of the celebration is the chance to win a $10,000 Cornhole Toss. Guests may enter the competition by submitting their name, with one entry permitted per person. Three finalists will be selected at random and invited to participate in the toss at 6 p.m. Each finalist will have one attempt to land the winning shot.
To ensure fairness, no practice throws will be permitted, and all attempts will be recorded on video.
The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets required.
