Playoff brackets for high school football playoffs in Texas were released over the weekend. In the D1 6A bracket, Lake Highlands is seeded to play South Grand Prairie — again. The Wildcats have faced off against South Grand Prairie in the first round each of the last five seasons, going 3-2 against the Warriors in that time. Kick-off is scheduled for Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in Grand Prairie.

After falling short of a third straight district championship with a heartbreaking overtime loss to Richardson, Cory Campbell’s team will look to gain momentum with a win over the Warriors, who finished the regular season with an 8-1 record. Last season, Lake Highlands beat the Warriors 27-0 at Wildcat-Ram Stadium.

A live stream is available for the game and can be found here. Tickets can be purchased beforehand on the event website. The game has been planned at the Gopher Warrior Bowl in Grand Prairie.
