The Dallas Police Department will team up with the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District, Council member Kathy Stewart, Dallas Children’s Charities and Pacific Plus International to host a Health and Safety Fair for kids this Saturday. The event will feature health screenings, flu shots, personal care bags and other benefits.
On the fun side, children will enjoy balloon art, train rides, fire engine tours and other frivolity. Families will receive free Thanksgiving turkeys and free coats ahead of a change in the weather.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Highlands High School, 9449 Church Road. Admission is free. DPD Officer Gabe Ortiz can answer questions at 469-260-8743.
