LHJWL members and Advocate staff gathered at Vector Brewing on Aug. 6 to collect donations from neighbors. Fortunately, the Lake Highlands community — as usual — showed out to generously support our neighborhood schools.

We are proud to announce that we collected:

  • 408 Highlighters
  • 56 Binders
  • 306 Notebooks
  • 190 sets of Headphones
  • $100 in Gift cards
  • 3,150 Pencils
  • 32 Backpacks
  • 6,300 Index cards
  • 168 packs of Sticky notes
  • 56 boxes of Kleenex

On Monday, LHWJL members dropped off the supplies at the high school.

Thank you for helping us support LHHS! We are proud to have been able to partner with LHJWL and Vector Brewing on the effort. Go Cats!
