Neighbors can head to Raising Cane’s this weekend for a free chicken finger as part of a special promotion.

Since 2010, Raising Cane’s has celebrated July 27 as National Chicken Finger Day with special deals and promotions. The brand, which recently overtook KFC as the third-highest-selling chicken chain in the U.S., has distributed over 150,000 free chicken fingers to date for the holiday.

This Sunday, neighbors who purchase a box combo from the chain will receive an additional finger free of charge. Close to Lake Highlands, the Raising Cane’s location on Forest Lane near U.S. 75 (opened in 2015) will participate, although only the drive-thru will be open due to construction.

Canes is collaborating with Snoop Dogg for the event as part of a promotion for his latest album, “Iz It a Crime?”
