A Dallas Police officer from the Northeast Patrol Division was recently arrested for intoxication charges.

On June 11, police say DPD Officer Jerrid Couch was arrested by the Dallas Police Department for public intoxication. DPD did not provide further details on the arrest.

Couch, who has been with the department since 2023, is currently on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, according to DPD. A timeline for the investigation was not specified.
