Wilcox home, 9024 Aldwick

Lake Highlands Women’s League members are gearing up to host hundreds of delighted home tour visitors this Friday, and they have a little secret to share. If you want to see everyone you’ve ever known, show up at 9:30 a.m. when volunteers open the doors, or come to the “twilight tour” between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. after the sun goes down. If you’re short on time and you need to whiz through between errands, squeeze in a visit between 2 and 5 – the least crowded part of the day.

Homes on this year’s tour are: Morgan and Thomas Farrow, 9215 Cliffmere; Casey and Matt McCann, 9215 Westwind Court; Jennifer and Reed Wilcox, 9024 Aldwick; and Stephani and Robert Walne, 9667 Rockpoint Court.

Holiday in the Highlands has a storied history, giving away more than a million dollars over its 43-year history in our neighborhood. Proceeds go to community projects, neighborhood schools and college scholarships for Lake Highlands High School students.

Holiday in the Highlands tour tickets can be purchased for $25 online here, and luncheon tickets are available while they last for $20 online here. Highland Oaks Church of Christ is the site of the luncheon from 11 to 1:30 and the holiday market, which runs from 9 to 3.
